Concrete Patios
Turn the back of the house into real living space: a patio poured to slope, drain, and cure right.
From the subgrade up
Every pour follows the same discipline: the steps a low bid skips.
Subgrade prep
We compact the base and set the right depth for your soil before any concrete goes down.
Slope & drainage
The slab is pitched away from the house so runoff sheds instead of pooling at the foundation.
4-inch base
A residential patio is poured on a 4-inch base, the standard for foot traffic and furniture.
Control joints
We cut joints on a plan so the slab has defined lines to move along.
Proper curing
We cure on a schedule so the surface sets evenly rather than flashing off too fast.
Torchy's Tacos Patio
A customer-facing patio poured around an operating restaurant: cleared, manager-approved, and captured in timelapse. The same standard we bring to a backyard.
Patios questions, answered
How much does a concrete patio cost?
It depends on size, finish, and site prep. A broom or smooth finish sits lower, stamped and decorative work runs higher. We price it after seeing the space, never a number on the phone we can't stand behind.
How thick should a concrete patio be?
A residential patio is poured on a 4-inch base, the standard for foot traffic and furniture, and we thicken it where heavier loads like a hot tub are involved.
Stamped or broom finish: which should I pick?
Broom is the workhorse: textured, slip-aware, and budget-friendly. Stamped costs more but gives you the look of stone or slate. We'll walk both against your space and how you'll use it.
How long before I can use a new patio?
Foot traffic is usually fine after 2 to 3 days, with full cure over about a month. We give you a specific timeline for your pour before we start.
Will my patio crack?
All concrete moves as it cures and with temperature swings, so we cut control joints to steer that movement to planned lines. We can't promise concrete never cracks; we build it to control where it does.
